Greetings and blessings,

I received your letters in their time, and I read your request for a blessing, with all the points it contained, when I went to the tziyun* of my father-in-law, the Rebbe. I read with pleasure, in your letter of 13 Nissan, that some of your problems have already found a solution, and you express your gratitude in this matter. No doubt you will likewise note an improvement in the other areas, in a visible and tangible good.

You think you suffer from your heart. There is most likely only an illusion in this, on your part, or, at most, a nervous manifestation. To rest, you will surely consult a competent doctor and conform to his prescriptions.

This is for what concerns the natural ways. At a deeper level, you must penetrate yourself deeply with the emunah* that every Jew possesses, being a "believer, son of believers." The Holy One, blessed be He, created the world 5,711 years ago. At every instant, He creates the world anew and directs it according to His Will. He is the perfection of good and naturally desires to bestow it upon the creatures.

It is therefore quite clear that your personal needs are part of all this. The Holy One, blessed be He, is, indeed, the Master of your life and of all that concerns you. He will lead you where you desire, for He acts according to the deep will of every Jew. This is the reason why, when one compels someone to say that he wishes to put into practice the Commandments of Hashem, one considers that he is in fact expressing his true will.

May He lead you with an evident love, with goodness and mercy. Remove from your mind all considerations about your nervous state. A chassid* must be in good health, not only physically, but also morally. Thus there will be accomplished, through him, the mission for which your neshama* descended into this lower world, material and coarse.

With my blessing that, very soon, you may announce good news to me in all these areas, and greeting you,

מכתביו בעתם קבלתי, כשהייתי על הציון של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר קראתי ג"כ הפ"נ שלו וכפי הענינים הרשומים בו. ושמחתי לקרא במכתבו מי"ג ניסן, אשר בחלק מהם עכ"פ כבר בא תיקון וגם הוא מודה על זה. ובטח גם בשאר הענינים יראה הטבת המצב בטוב הנראה והנגלה.

...מה שנדמה לו שסובל מהתרגשות הלב וכו', הנה קרוב לודאי שאין זה אלא ענין של דמיון ועכ"פ של נערוון בלבד. כדי לפצות את דעת עצמו בטח יבקר רופא מומחה במקצוע זה ויעשה כפי הוראותיו. זהו בנוגע לדרך הטבע. ובנוגע לפנימיות הענינים, הנה יתקע מחשבתו בחוזק באמונה פשוטה שיש לכל ישראל מאמינים בני מאמינים אשר הקב"ה שברא העולם לפני ה"א תיש"א שנה הנה בכל רגע ורגע הוא בורא את העולם ומנהיגו כפי רצונו, שהוא תכלית הטוב, ומטבע הטוב להיטיב. וא"כ פשוט אשר גם עניניו הם נכללים בזה, שבחייו ובעניניו הרי הקב"ה הוא הבע"ב והוא ינחהו למחוז חפצו (פנימיות הרצון של כל אחד ואחד מישראל, שלכן מהנ[י] כשכופין אותו עד שיאמר רוצה אני בדברים שעפ"י תורה). ויה"ר שינחהו באהבה מגולה בחסדים וברחמים, און איר זאלט זיך ארויסנעמען פון קאפ די אלע זאכן פון נערוון וכו', א חסיד דארף זיין א געזונטער ניט נאר ברוחניות נאר בגשמיות אויך, כדי שהוא ועל ידו תתמלא השליחות שבשבילה ירדה נשמתו לעוה"ז התחתון הגשמי והחומרי.
