I respond to your letter[1] regarding your relatives who are there[2]. Is it appropriate to send them documents to request permission to leave for Eretz Yisrael*? In my view, it is quite clear that this is advisable, but, as is customary in such cases, one must ensure they are not afraid to receive them. It is therefore appropriate to ask them beforehand, of course in a confidential manner. Those who write there have experience in this matter[3] and some of them are our friends in Kfar Chabad*.

I hope, as I have already written many times, that you take part in the Chassidic* gatherings that take place at Kfar Chabad*. You will therefore continue to do so in the future, particularly for the 19th of Kislev*, for example.

I address to you my blessing to bring me good tidings of all that has just been said, to finally find a good match, although you have written to me on several occasions that this is not so easy. Nevertheless, in the course of your life you have had to face, in various circumstances, events that are difficult to explain in a natural manner. במענה למכתבו אודות קרובים הנמצאים "שם" , האם כדאי לשלוח להם מסמכי-בקשה ליציאה לארץ ישראל, ודאי דעתי שהדבר כדאי. אך כרגיל בכגון דא יש לדעת מקודם שאין הם פוחדים לקבל את המסמכים, דהיינו לשאול אותם על כך קודם למעשה – כמובן בצורה חשאית. הכותבים לשם יש להם נסיון בדבר, חלקם ידידינו בכפר חב"ד.

אני מקוה, כפי שכתבתי כבר פעמים רבות, שהוא נוטל חלק בהתוועדויות הנערכות בכפר חב"ד, וימשיך לעשות כך בעתיד, במיוחד בי"ט כסלו וכיו"ב.

בברכה לבשורות טובות בכל האמור לעיל, וסוף סוף בשידוך מתאים, למרות שכתב כמה פעמים שאין הדבר כל כך קל, אך הרי בחייו היו פעמים רבות מאורעות שקשה הי' להסביר אותם ע"פ דרך הטבע.
