To those who pray in the synagogue Ateret Tzvi* of Atlantic City, may Hashem grant you long life,

I greet and bless you,

I was pleased to learn, in its time, that a general assembly of your members and those who come to pray — may Hashem grant them long days and good years — had taken place. The decision was made then to continue supporting the synagogue and, certainly, to strengthen it as well. You also inform me that a new start has been made under the leadership of the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem and dedicates himself to communal needs, Rav Levi Yitzchak Eisner, as well as the other members of the executive board.

It is surely unnecessary to point out to you that this is a judicious beginning, a good start. Indeed, the goal is always to strengthen and develop a worthy synagogue, especially in our era.

Therefore, one may hope that the leaders and those who pray there will not merely maintain this synagogue, but will do everything in their power to develop it, both quantitatively — by multiplying the number of its members and those who pray there — and qualitatively — by establishing appropriate public Torah study sessions. The merit of the public will surely protect you.

May Hashem cause this synagogue to grow and expand, both materially and spiritually, that it bear, rightly, the name of "holy community," that it be the channel conveying Hashem's blessing to each of its builders, supporters, and those who pray there, together with all members of their families.
