In view of the end of your letter[1], you will do as follows and Hashem will grant you success.
You will study Psalm* 23[2] until you know its content well, but not necessarily its words verbatim. And it matters not in which language this study is conducted.
You will recite this Psalm on the holy Shabbat*, on Monday and on Thursday, without making it a vow[3]. In the morning on weekdays and before the lighting of candles on the eve of Shabbat and the holidays[4], you will set aside a few cents for Tzedakah*, without making it a vow[3].
If someone speaks ill of you in the future, you will pay it no[3] heed whatsoever, you will ask no questions about it, as this Psalm says, for "Hashem is with you" and "only goodness and kindness shall pursue you." No one[3] can therefore have power over you, may Hashem prevent it.
If your family doctor prescribes tranquilizer tablets, you will follow this prescription. I will make mention of all this near the grave[5], as well as so that you be inscribed and sealed for a good year.
Your husband will have his Tefillin* and the Mezuzot* checked, if this has not been done in the past twelve months.

תלמוד עד שתדע התוכן (לאו דוקא התיבות) של מזמור 23 בתהלים (אין נפק"מ באיזה לשון תלמד).
תאמר מזמור הנ"ל ביום הש"ק, ב', ה', בל"נ . בבוקר דימות החול וכן לפהדה"נ בעשויו"ט – תפריש סענט אחדים לצדקה, בל"נ .
לא תשים לב כלל – מכאן ולהבא – באם מי שהוא מדבר אודותה וכיו"ב, וגם לא תשאלם עד"ז כלל, כי (כאמור במזמור הנ"ל) ה' עמדה, ואך טוב וחסד ירדפוה – ובמילא, אין שליטה עלי', ח"ו, ממי שהוא כלל.
באם הרופא המשפחתי יתן פּילן הרגעה וכיו"ב, תמלא הוראותיו.
