Greetings and blessing,

In reply to your letter, by which you inform me that your wife is feeling better. She will surely continue to follow the doctor's prescriptions, and will place her trust in Hashem, who will cause everything to take place in its time[1].

I also propose to you, before going to sleep—that is, before reciting the bedtime Krias Shema*—to read the Tehillim* "Ya'ancha"[2]. Then you will repeat once more this verse[3] and, in reading it, you will ask to be considered as if you had thought of all the deep allusions it introduces[4].

With my blessing that you give good news,

כן אציע לו שקודם השכיבה (קודם קששעהמ"ט) יאמר מזמור יענך וכו' ואח"כ יחזור לומר פסוק יענך עוה"פ ויחשוב בעת אמירת הפסוק שיהי' כאלו כוון כל הכונות השייכות לזה.
