You ask me how to make up for a missed prayer*[1]. Of course, you must first and foremost regret what happened and make a firm resolution for the future. In addition, you will acquire a good knowledge of the laws of prayer that apply to everyone — excluding those that are reserved for the prayer leader*[2].

...לכתבו אודות תיקון בנוגע לשכחת תפלה, מובן שלכל לראש צריך להיות - חרטה על העבר וקבלה טובה על להבא וכו' ונוסף על זה להיות בקי בהלכות תפילה הצריכות לכל אחד ואחד (ולא השייכות לשליח צבור וכו').
