You ask me[1] whether one may interrupt one's prayer to insert, for example, the word "Father"[2]. You should consult, on this matter, the Nimukei Orach Chaim* of the righteous one, the Rabbi of Munkatch*, in chapter 101. It is quite clear that not everyone is entitled to grant himself the right to do so.[3]
