By the grace of Hashem*,

21st of Elul* 5726,
Brooklyn,

I bless you and greet you,

I am writing in response to your letter of 14 Elul*, requesting my blessing regarding the duties you are called to undertake within the Beit Rivkah* seminary of Kfar Chabad*[1]. In this regard, the following assurances have been given to us by our holy Torah*, Torah of life:

A) "One is aided in his desire to purify himself"[2] and the Admor Hazaken* explains[3] that this includes as well the act of purifying others.

B) Moreover, it is emphasized that: "If you make an effort, you will find"[4].

I therefore have every confidence that you will endeavor to fulfill your duties with the appropriate dedication and self-sacrifice befitting the education of Hashem's* children, if one may so express it, and that what is stated above will be fulfilled for you. It is doubtless unnecessary to point out that if every Jew must set an example of a person who conducts himself according to our Torah*, Torah of life, then a teacher — and especially a teacher whose vocation is to train other teachers — must be especially [mindful] of this.[5] With my blessing to be inscribed and sealed for a good and pleasant year,

במענה למכתבה מי"ד אלול, בקשת ברכה, בקשר עם תפקידה בעתיד בסמינר בית רבקה בכפר חב"ד.

והנה בכגון זה הובטחנו בתורתנו הק' תורת חיים,

א) הבא לטהר - וידוע דיוק רבנו הזקן, לטהר (גם) אחרים - מסייעין אותו, ולא עוד אלא,

ב) יגעת ומצאת.

והתקוה חזקה שתשתדל בתפקידה במסירה ונתינה המתאימות, בחינוך בניו של מקום כביכול, ויקוים האמור לעיל.

ובטח למותר להדגיש, אשר אם על כל או"א מבני ישראל להיות דוגמא חי' של אדם המתנהג וחי ע"פ הוראות תורתנו תורת חיים, עאכו"כ - מחנך ומדריך.

וביחוד במוסד אשר תפקידו להכין מורות, ז.א. [..
