To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem* and dedicates himself to communal needs, Rav* Baruch Shlomo Eliyahu[1],

I greet you and bless you,

You have informed me of your birthday and here is my response. You have surely observed the custom recently adopted by Chassidim* on the occasion of this birthday. May Hashem* therefore grant you a year of success, both materially and spiritually. You will strengthen your study of the Torah* and your observance of its Mitzvot*, in abundance. With my blessing for success in your activities of spreading Judaism and its sources[2], in particular, and also wishing you to be inscribed and sealed for a good year,
