I greet you and bless you,

I am writing in response to your letter[1] written on the day when the word "good" was said twice[2]. You tell me that you have been married for several years but still have no child. At an auspicious moment, your names will be mentioned at the holy tomb of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit will protect us. Very often[3], the obstacle preventing Hashem's* blessing for having children from being revealed is an imperfect observance of the principles and laws of family purity — Niddah*, purity examination, ritual immersion in a valid Mikveh*, due to a lack of knowledge of all the details. It would therefore be good to verify these matters with a Rav* who rules on Halacha*. Similarly[4], I refer you to what is written in the Shulchan Aruch*, Yoreh Deah*, chapter 184, regarding the details of the laws. By their nature, the laws of family purity are life-giving, Torah* of life. Furthermore, it would be advisable to have your Tefillin* checked. Every weekday, before putting them on, you will set aside Tzedakah*. It goes without saying that this Tzedakah* will be given without making a vow. With my blessing to be inscribed and sealed for a good year,

במענה למכתבו מיום שהוכפל בו כי טוב, בו כותב שזה כמה שנים לאחרי חתונתם ועדיין לא נתברכו בפרי הבטן.

בעת רצון יזכירום על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע.

וכיון שלפעמים רבות העכוב לברכת השם לזחו"ק בא, מאי הדיוק בשמירת חוקי ודיני טהרת המשפחה (נדה, הפסק טהרה, טבילה במקוה כשרה וכו') מחסרון ידיעה בכל הפרטים בזה, לכן עליהם לברר אצל רב מורה הוראה כל הפרטים בזה ועל מנת לשמור על זה ככל הדרוש מכאן ולהבא.

ומובן שהאמור הוא בתוככי כללות הנהגה בחיי היום יומים שתהא מתאימה להוראות תורתנו תורת חיים ובקיום מצותי' עליהם נאמר וחי בהם, וגם הוספה בזה מזמן לזמן,

ולאחרי התחזקות בהנהגה האמורה, ישאלו עוד הפעם דעת רופא מומחה ולעשות כהוראתו.

בפרטיות אודות הטפול שמזכיר במכתבו (נתוח וכו'), לכל לראש יש לברר אצל רב מורה הוראה, האם מותר ע"פ תורתנו תורת חיים.

ומהנכון אשר יבדקו את התפילין שלו, ובכל יום חול קודם הנחת התפילין להפריש לצדקה - כמובן שהפרשה לצדקה צריכה להיות בלי
