I am replying to what you communicated to me regarding your wife's condition[2]. May Hashem bring it about that the days of her pregnancy pass well and are easy, that she have a healthy child at the right time, in the fitting and easy manner. You know the teaching of my father-in-law, the Rabbi, whose merit shall protect us, that she should not make her condition known before entering the fifth month[3]. With my blessing,

For a certain reason, the sending of this letter was delayed, and in the meantime I received your letters regarding the school and the plan you are now considering — that of joining… It is clear that there is no reason to stir a controversy, especially one of this nature, and you must understand what I mean. I am surprised you could even entertain the thought. Such a proposal must not even be imagined. I have just received your letters of 7 Adar* and the previous one. As I have said, it is out of the question that you become involved in this controversy. You will therefore continue to carry out your current duties in the place where you currently are.

מסיבה נתעכב משלוח המכתב ובנתיים נתקבלו מכתביו ע"ד ביה"ס וסברא הצעה שיכנס מעתה לרשות כו' - מובן שאין להכנס לכל ענין של מחלוקת (ועאכו"כ מחלוקת כזו. וד"ל). ולפלא הקס"ד. ואין מקום לכל ההצעה.

ז"ע נתקבלו מכתביו מז' אדר והקודמו - וכנ"ל אין ענינו כלל להתערב בדברי מחלוקת ובמילא ימשיך במשרתו עתה במקומו עתה וכו'.
