To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem and dedicates himself to communal needs, Rav Yosef[1] and his wife,
I greet and bless you,
Following our conversation during your visit here, I hope that what we discussed will have the appropriate follow-through and, in the words of our Sages*[2], will lead to action. Furthermore, the matter at hand concerns the education of the sons and daughters of Israel. Now, the question of education has always been relevant, in every place and time, and how much more so in our era of confusion and disappointment — especially in a place where, for the time being, those who observe Torah* and Mitzvot* in their daily lives are not an absolute majority.
I will mention your names at an opportune moment near the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rabbi, whose merit shall protect us, so that you may have great success in all areas, with joy and enthusiasm. We have just observed the tenth day of Shevat*…[3]
