To the Rav, distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem, of many accomplishments, the Rav Nissan*[1],

I greet and bless you,

I have duly received your letter of 21 Cheshvan* and the most recent one, of 11 Kislev*. May Hashem grant that you give me good news of its content, that darkness be transformed into light and bitterness into sweetness[2]. These days are propitious for this, as they belong to the month of Kislev*, the month of miracles and deliverance. With my blessing that you give me good news, of a good that is visible and tangible,
