By the grace of Hashem,

To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem and dedicates himself to communal needs, Rav Shmuel Elazar Shaulzon[1],

I greet you and bless you,

I have duly received your letter dated the first day of Rosh Chodesh* Mar Cheshvan, as well as those that preceded it and what was enclosed therein. I hope that in the future you will continue to send me whatever is published regarding current events[2].

May Hashem bring it about that our Torah*, the Torah of truth, will at last illuminate the mind and heart of every Jew*, down to his concrete actions. For the path of truth is the one and only path one can follow when one wishes to live a life worthy of that name. If this is so for individuals, how much more is it the case for groups and parties. With my blessing,

ויהי רצון שסו"ס תורתנו תורת אמת תאיר נפשו ולבו של כל אחד ואחד מישראל ועד למעשה בפועל, שהרי דרך אמת היא אך היא גם דרך החיים חיים הראויים לשמם.

ואם בנוגע ליחידים הדברים אמורים, על אחת כמה וכמה בנוגע לקבוצות ומפלגות וכו' וכו'.
