To the attention of the distinguished and pleasant Chassid*, elected representative of the people,
who surpasses them, seeks the good of his people, has
generous conduct, is descended from an illustrious family,
the Rav* Shneur Zalman Shlita* (note 1: Sh. Z. Shazar, President of Eretz Yisrael*. See, on his subject, letter number 8682.),
I greet you and bless you,
In the newspapers that reach me from the Holy Land, may it be restored and rebuilt, I habitually search for the list of persons to whom you grant an audience (note 2: In his capacity as president.). Now, I have just seen that an interruption occurred, for several days. I have also received letters from the Chassidim*, who confirmed my concerns. Thus, you were not in good health for some time. Nevertheless, I was pleased to note the resumption of these audiences, which proves that your state of health has improved, thank Hashem.
May Hashem therefore make it that you have a speedy and complete recovery, that in good health and in joy, you may make use of all the considerable possibilities, both quantitative and qualitative, that are offered to you, in the direction of good, of true good. And, Chassidus* customarily adds, in this regard: "in visible and tangible good." With my consideration, my respects, my blessing of good health and for giving me good news,

ימים אלו, ביחד עם העתונות שמגיעים אלי מאה"ק ת"ו - ודרכי לחפש בהם רשימת האנשים המתקבלים לראיון אצל כ', וראיתי שהי' בזה הפסק של איזה ימים - קבלתי גם מכתבים מאנ"ש שי שישרו את חששי כי כ' לא הי' במצב בריאות שפיר משך איזה זמן. אבל שמחתי לראות כי נתחדשו הראיונות מה שמעיד שכבר הוטב מצבו ת"ל, ויהי רצון שתהי' רפואתו שלמה וגם קרובה. ויוכל מתוך בריאות הנכונה ובשמחה לנצל את האפשרויות הכי נעלות באיכות והכי גדולות בכמות בכיוון הטוב, בטוב האמתי, ובהוספה הרגילה בכגון זה בתורת החסידות - בטוב הנראה והנגלה.
