I greet you and bless you,

I have duly received (note 1: See Likkutei Sichos*, vol. 24, p. 365.) your letters and I thank you very much for your blessings (note 2: On the occasion of the birthday of the Rebbe*, 11 Nissan*.). Regarding the Likkutei Torah* (note 3: In 5725, the Rebbe* had requested that one study the Likkutei Torah* on the Parshah* of each week. The recipient of this letter therefore asked the Rebbe* what should be done when one did not manage to study it in its entirety during the week. Should one move on to the following week and complete what was missed later, or continue the study in order?), it is good, indeed, to study it in order. In this way, one can hope to complete it, in the end, which is not the case, however, when one allows "an old debt" (note 4: Through the parts that were not studied, week after week.) to accumulate.

לקו"ת: בשנת תשכ"ה הורה כ"ק אדמו"ר ללמוד לקו"ת על הפרשה בכל שבוע, ושאל א' כשאינו מספיק ללמוד הכל בשבוע א', האם ילמד בשבוע ב' השייך לאותו שבוע וישלים החסר בזמן הפנוי, או שימשיך ללמוד על הסדר. וראה גם לקמן אגרת ט'ז.
