By the grace of Hashem,
4 Nissan* 5725,
Brooklyn,
To Mrs. Chassya* (note 1: Mrs. H. Goldenberg, of Netanya.),
I bless you and greet you,
After a long interruption, I have duly received your letter of 29 Adar Sheini*, with what was enclosed. You write to me that Hashem has come to your aid and that He has positively fulfilled the wish of your heart, that of donating your house to the Chabad* association, with the purpose of making it a place of prayer and Torah* study (note 2: See, on this subject, letter no. 8981.). Certainly, there will be a good beginning to this project when you yourself, in your lifetime, benefit from it. Thus, you will know the satisfaction of taking part, with your husband, in the prayers that will be said in this house. The saying of my father-in-law (note 3: See, on this subject, letter no. 7880.), the Rebbe*, leader of Israel, is known, regarding the phrase: "You will see the World to Come in your lifetime," according to which one must share what one possesses, in one's lifetime, among Tzedakah*, Torah* and Mitzvos*. It is precisely in this way that one obtains long life and good years.
It has been taught, on various occasions, that, when one takes a firm decision, Hashem grants His help, so that one can put it into practice with much less difficulty than one imagined. And, one does so in good health, with good morale and true happiness. We are in the month of Nissan*, that of the redemption, of the liberation from all the pitfalls that one may encounter on one's path, when one desires that one's good resolution be followed by effect, in the broadest manner. With my blessing to give me good tidings of all that has just been said, as well as for a kosher and joyous Pesach* festival,
