I respond to your question. The position that has always been mine, in this matter, is well known. The Chassidim*, in particular those who... (note 2: Are apt to do so.), must endeavor to establish themselves in Paris and to be active there. It is clear that the rabbinate is one of the aspects of this activity and even one of the most important. Regarding the specific proposal that is made to you and its various facets, it is advisable to take counsel with friends who are on the spot.
