To my cousin, Mrs. Sheina Zelda (note 1: Mrs. S. Z. Schneerson Mishkovski, of Yerushalayim*. See, regarding her, letter no. 8004.),

I bless you and greet you,

I respond to your letter, in which you mention the epitaph. In my opinion, it is good to mention therein the name of your father, husband of the deceased (note 2: Mrs. Rochel* Schneerson.), my uncle (note 3: Rav* Shalom Shlomo Schneerson, paternal uncle of the Rebbe*.), specifying that he is a descendant of the Alter Rebbe* (note 4: See, regarding this, letter no. 7544.). Of course, you will also indicate the name of the father of the deceased, Rav* D. T. (note 5: Rav* Dovid Tzvi Hen.). Regarding the details of the text (note 4), one must take counsel with the Chassidic* Rabbanim* who are on the spot (note 6: The Rebbe* underlines the expression: "who are on the spot."). Indeed, it is necessary to take into account the custom in practice at that cemetery and therefore to consult a local Rav*.

I have asked my friend, the Chassid*, Rav* Avraham, to be able to participate in the hospitalization expenses (note 7: Of the deceased.). You have surely received, in due time, my telegram and my previous correspondence. I address to you my double blessing that in the future, you know only good, a manifest good, which will be the content of the letters we exchange. במענה למכתבה - בנוגע לנוסח המצבה שכותבת, לדעתי נכון להזכיר שם האב - דודי - בעל הנפטרת ז"ל (בהוספה שהוא מגזע אדמו"ר הזקן וכו'), וכמובן שם אבי' (הררד"צ ז"ל).

הנוסח בפרטיות - יש להתייעץ עם רבני אנ"ש שי' על אתר - כיון שבכגון זה צריך להתחשב עם הנהוג בבית-החיים זה וצ"ל הוראת הרב במקום.

בקשתי את ידידי הרה"ח וכו' הרב אברהם שי' לשתפני בהוצאות האישפוז בביה"ח וכו'.

מברקי והמכתב הקודם בטח נתקבלו בעתם.
