To the attention of Rav* Shlomo Tarshanski (note 1: See, regarding him, letter no. 8385.),

I greet you and bless you,

I have duly received your letter of 11 Teves*. I thank you for your notes and your references justifying that one does not insert a paragraph of Purim* into the blessing (note 2: Of the Amidah*.): "Speedily cause the sprout of Dovid* to flourish."

Likewise, of course, I doubly thank you for what you have done to disseminate the commentaries of the Gaon* of Rogatchov* on the Guide for the Perplexed, which will undoubtedly be published soon. This is in addition to all the efforts you have made in the past to publish the explanations of this Gaon*. In fact, all these descriptions (note 3: Commentaries, explanations.) are inadequate, as far as he is concerned, for his commentaries far surpass those that are ordinarily encountered. In the terminology of Chassidus*, they are filled with the Light that penetrates the vessel, then overflow, beyond what this vessel can contain, and surround it, from above. I enclose what has been published here recently. It will surely interest you. With my respects and my blessing to give me good tidings, always and every day,

מאשר אני קבלת מכתבו מי"א בטבת, ות"ח על הציונים ומ"מ בטעם מה שלא נמצא קרובץ דפורים בברכת את צמח דוד.

כן, כמובן, ת"ח כפולה על פעולתו בנוגע להדפסת חידושי הגאון הרגטשובי על המורה נבוכים, שבודאי תצא לפועל בקרוב, נוסף על פעולתו בעבר בהוצאת חידושי הגאון הנ"ל. ובאמת אין התואר "חידושים" הולמם ומכילם, כי חידושיו הם שלא בערך למעלה ממובן הרגיל של מלת "חידוש". ובסגנון המונחים בתורת החסידות, מלאים הם אור הממלא את הכלי ועוד כהנה וכהנה אשר לא יכילנו הכלי ומקיף עליו מלמעלה.

מצורף בזה מה שהו"ל לאחרונה, שבודאי יענין את כת"ר.
