To the attention of Mr. Yosef Dekel (note 1: See, regarding him, letter no. 8699.),

I greet you and bless you,

I would like, retroactively, to express my gratitude for your promise to accede to the request of our librarian and to send to our library the necessary publications (note 2: See Likkutei Sichos*, vol. 22, p. 309.).

On this occasion, I would like to mention what has taken place in Natzeres Ilit*. You are on the spot and you therefore surely know, in detail, what the situation is, for you know it far better than I. I therefore express my hope that you are doing everything in your power to truly draw hearts close. I mean that these hearts must be truly close, for it is indeed in this way that all unite with our Father Who is in Heaven. This is what is called the heart of Yisrael* (note 3: In Midrash* Shir HaShirim* Rabbah*, chapter 5, paragraph 2.). I retain the memory of the efforts you made to strengthen this city and it is said that: "a man has compassion for the work of his hands." With my respects and my blessing to give me good tidings,

בהזדמנות זו רצוני לעורר על הפרשה בנצרת עילית, שבודאי להיותו במקום יודע פרטי הענינים והמצב עוד יותר ממני. ואביע תקותי אשר עושה כל התלוי בו לקרב את הלבבות בקירוב אמתי. כוונתי קירוב לבב בנ"י אחד לרעהו, ובאמת, שתלוי ועולה בד בבד עם קירוב הלבבות לאבינו שבשמים, הנקרא לבן של ישראל.

- וזכורני סיפורו על העמל שהשקיע בביסוס העיר והרי - אדם חס על מעשי ידיו.
