(End of Mar Cheshvan* 5725)
A way of life (note 1: The question posed concerned the importance, for a newlywed, of continuing his studies for some time in the framework of a Kollel*.) in which the husband devotes at least part of his day to the study of the Torah* is (note 2: The Rebbe* underlines the words: "is" and "from the outset, willingly and with joy."), of course, a judicious beginning (note 3: Of the shared life of a couple.), as it should be among the children of Yisrael*, for marriage is the introduction of an eternal edifice, but it is equally obvious that this results in limitations, in measure, in some material difficulties (note 4: A financial sacrifice.). This is felt on a daily basis, but, nevertheless, the life of the Jewish people, as it is written, must take place in joy, enthusiasm, and trust.
It is therefore necessary to accept such a way of life from the outset, willingly and with joy (note 2), since one begins one's existence with the life of the Torah*, the Torah* of life. If you both accept it (note 5: The husband and the wife.) in the manner that has just been described, Hashem will grant that it be at a good and fruitful moment.
