To the participants in the celebration of the conclusion of the study

of Tractate* Shabbos*, at Kfar Argentina Nir Tzvi, may

Hashem grant you long days and good years,

I greet you and bless you,

I have duly received your request for a blessing* (note 1: On the occasion of this celebration of the conclusion of a study.). On the occasion of the new year, which arrives, for us and for all of Yisrael*, for good and for blessing, I hereby address my blessing to you yourselves and to all your families, that you be inscribed and sealed for a good and sweet year, materially and spiritually.

I address you my respects and my blessing that, in accordance with the conclusion of Tractate* Shabbos*, you devote yourselves to the Mitzvos* and their preparations, in Shabbos*, rest, abundance, and grandeur, in the manner that characterized the Exilarch*, "in order to purify a woman for her husband" — that is, the Congregation of Yisrael* for the Holy One, blessed be He. For this, all actions will be measured with a view toward the Mitzvah* and what pertains to it, including worldly concerns, which one will make into a study of the Torah*, of the Oral Law*, as our Sages* explain (note 2: In Tractate* Berachos* 63a.), precisely in this Oral Law*, regarding the conduct that is based on the principle: "In all your ways, acknowledge Him." With my blessing that you be inscribed and sealed for a good year,

ולקראת השנה החדשה הבאה עלינו ועל כל ישראל לטובה ולברכה, הנני בזה להביע ברכתי להם ולכל אשר להם ברכת כתיבה וחתימה טובה לשנה טובה ומתוקה בגשמיות וברוחניות.

בכבוד ובברכה - שע"פ סיום מס' שבת - יתעסקו מתוך (שבת) מנוחה ומתוך הרחבה וגדלות (כהנהגת בי ריש גלותא) במצות ובהכנות להן, כדי לטהר אשה - זו כנסת ישראל - לבעלה - זה הקב"ה ע"י שיהיו כל עשיותיהם במדידה דמצוה (בעניני מצוה) ואפילו בהתעסקותם בעלמא - יעשו מזה דיני תורה (שבעל פה) וכביאור חז"ל (בתושבע"פ) בהנהגת בכל דרכיך דעהו, ובברכת כוח"ט.
