By the grace of Hashem,

days of the liberation,

12 and 13 Tammuz* 5724,

To Mr. Ariel, who is called Doctor Bar Sela,

I greet you and bless you,

I am surprised not to have had news of you for several months already. But, I wish to see in this a sign that all is well.

We are in propitious days, those of the liberation of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, at the conclusion of his imprisonment in his native country. You surely have knowledge of what took place then. May Hashem therefore grant that the memory of this period awaken in each one of us the desire to multiply actions, in a concrete manner, in the spirit of the one whose joy and deliverance we celebrate. His merit will protect each one of us, among all of Yisrael*. With my respects and my blessing,

לפלא שזה כמה חדשים שלא שמעתי מכ', ורצוני לקוות שהוא סימן טוב שהכל בסדר.

ובעמדנו בימי סגולה אלה, ימי גאולת כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר ממאסרו במדינת מולדתו, אשר בודאי ידועה לכ' פרשת הימים ההם, יהי רצון אשר זכרון הימים האלה יעורר בכל אחד ואחד מאתנו התעוררות לתוספת מעשים בפועל ברוחו של בעל השמחה והגאולה, וזכותו יעמוד לכל או"א מאתנו בתוככי כלל ישראל.
