Igrot Kodesh · Letter 8801 — Tzedakah

Volume 23 · Letter 125

By the grace of Hashem,

12 Nissan* 5724,

Brooklyn,

To Yosef Yitzchak (note 1: Y. I. Tzoller, of Zurich),

I greet you and bless you,

I received, with pleasure, your letter of the 5th of Nissan*. I have good hope that you are progressing in your study and in your conduct, in the study of our Torah*, Torah* of life, a study that will lead to action (note 2: According to tractate Kiddushin* 40b), to the practice of its Mitzvos* and to this conduct. Without doubt, you have already studied the meaning of the Haggadah* of Pesach* and you will ask the four questions of the Mah Nishtanah*.

By virtue of such study and such conduct, you will belong to the category of the wise sons, to the satisfaction of your parents. If you truly wish it, you will know success in all of this. With my blessing to give me good news of what has just been said and on the occasion of the festival of Pesach*,

ח'תתא*

[נוסח המברק לקראת חג הפסח תשכ"ד]

שבת וחג הפסח כשר ושמח ועונג וחרות אמיתיים.
