By the grace of Hashem,

30 Kislev* 5724,

I greet you and bless you,

I have duly received your letter (note 1: This letter was addressed to several persons. See, on this subject, letters no. 8709 and 8915). We have experienced the day of good tidings (note 2: The Rebbe* notes, at the bottom of the page: "See the Responsa from Heaven, at chapter 5") and of the liberation of the Admur HaZaken*, the 19th of Kislev*, that of our deliverance and the freedom of our souls. This date has become a festival, a celebration for all subsequent generations, as an eternal commemoration. Now, this deliverance and its content are linked to the words of David, king of Yisrael*, which were pronounced in the name of every Jew: "He has liberated my soul in peace, in the battle waged against me, for they were numerous with me."

Our Sages* comment (note 3: The Rebbe* notes, at the bottom of the page: "In tractate Berachos* 8a") on this verse in the following manner: "The Holy One blessed be He says: whoever devotes himself to the Torah*, to good deeds, and prays with the community, I consider it as if he had liberated Me, with My children, from the nations of the world." May Hashem therefore cause that each one, within all of Yisrael*, strengthen himself in these three domains (note 4: The Rebbe* notes, at the bottom of the page: "See the commentary of the Maharsha*, at this reference, and the Reshimos* of the Tzemach Tzedek* on the verse Tehillim* 55, 19"), study of the Torah*, good deeds and Mitzvos* in general (note 5: The Rebbe* notes, at the bottom of the page: "Indeed, all the Mitzvos* are qualified as Tzedakah*, as the Torah Or* explains, in particular, at page 63c"), fervent prayer, illuminated by the clarity of the teaching of the Admur HaZaken*, Chassidus*.

All of this will be accomplished in a situation of deliverance from all obstacles and all hindrances, advancing, adding, and illuminating all that has just been said, until our true and complete deliverance, by our righteous Moshiach*, very soon and in our days. I address my blessing to you to give me good news of all this, as well as for a joyous Chanukah*, in joy and enthusiasm, for Hashem is pleased with your action in the domain of education based on sacred values,

יהי רצון אשר מתאים לדרשת רז"ל בכתוב האמור: אמר הקב"ה כל העוסק בתורה ובגמילות חסדים ומתפלל עם הציבור מעלה אני עליו כאילו פדאני לי ולבני מבין אומות העולם.

יתחזק כאו"א, בתוככי כלל ישראל, בשלשת קווין האמורים: בעסק התורה, בעסק גמ"ח (ומצות בכלל) ובעבודת התפלה -

מוארים באור תורתו של הנ"ל - תורת החסידות,

ויהי' כ"ז במצב של גאולה מכל מניעות ועיכובים.

ובאופן דהלוך והוסיף ואור בכל האמור - עדי גאולתנו השלימה והאמתית ע"י משיח צדקנו במהרה בימינו.

בברכה לבשו"ט בכל האמור ולחנוכה שמח ולשמחה וט"ל כי רצה ה' את עבודתו בחינוך עטה"ק,
