Blessing and peace!
In response to her letter of 5 Tishrei, which was just received, in which she writes about the state of her health, and that she has not yet become pregnant, etc.
In general in such a matter, one acts according to the opinion of a specialist physician in the field; for a person is to do what depends on him in the way of nature. And in Paris there are several physicians in this field.
But also — and this too is essential — that sometimes pregnancy is delayed due to lack of knowledge of all that is required in observing the laws and statutes of taharas hamishpachah*. And therefore one must clarify with a rav moreh horaah all the details in this. And although, based on the chinuch she received in our institutions, surely she knows all that is needed, nevertheless it is worthwhile to clarify, as mentioned, for "there is no tzaddik in the land who does good and does not sin."
Surely she keeps the good custom of the kosher daughters of Israel to set aside tzedakah* before lighting the candles every Erev Shabbos and Erev Yom Tov.
With blessing for good tidings on all the above.

ברכה ושלום!
במענה למכתבה מה' תשרי, שנתקבל ז"ע, בו כותבת אודות מצב בריאותה, ושעדיין לא נכנסה להריון וכו'
ובכלל בכגון זה עושים כדעת רופא מומחה במקצוע שהרי על האדם לעשות התלוי בו בדרך הטבע, והרי בפאריז נמצאים כמה רופאים במקצוע זה.
אלא וגם זה עיקר, אשר לפעמים מתעכב הריון מפני העדר הידיעה ככל הדרוש בשמירת חוקי ודיני טהרת המשפחה, ולכן צריכים לברר אצל רב מורה הוראה כל הפרטים בזה, ואף שע"פ החינוך שקבלה במוסדנו בודאי שיודעת כל הדרוש, בכל זה כדאי לברר כאמור, שהרי אין צדיק בארץ אשר יעשה וכו'.
בטח שומרת על מנהגן הטוב של בנות ישראל הכשרות להפריש לצדקה קודם הדלקת הנרות בכל ערב שבת וערב יום טוב.
