I bless you and greet you,

I respond to your letter of 10/9, in which you mention the state of health of your husband, who suffers from the vertebrae. In the United States, in such a case, one avoids operating, as of late, and one endeavors to have recourse to other treatments. The doctors of the Holy Land, may it be restored and rebuilt, are in permanent contact with those here and it is therefore certain that these treatments are known in your surroundings.

If you indicate to me your name and that of your husband, in the Holy Tongue, as well as the name of your respective mothers, since such is the formulation that is adopted in prayer, I will mention them so that you obtain the satisfaction of your needs. With my blessing to give me good news and that you be inscribed and sealed for a good year,

במענה למכתבה מיום 9/10, בו כותבת אודות בריאות בעלה שי' שסובל מדיסקוס.

והנה בארצוה"ב לאחרונה משתמטים מנתוחים בכגון זה, ומשתדלים באופני טפול אחרים, וכיון שהרופאים דאה"ק ת"ו עומדים בקישור תמידי עם הרופאים דכאן, בודאי ידועים טפולים אלו בסביבתה.

כשתכתוב השמות שלה ושל בעלה בלשון הקדש בצירוף שם האם של כל אחד ואחת (שכן נוהגים להזכיר בתפלה) יזכירום להמצטרך להם.
