By the grace of Hashem,

To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem,

the Rav Naftali (note 1: Rav N. Yunik, of Montreal. See, regarding him, letter no. 7923), the Shochet*,

I greet you and bless you,

I have duly received your letter of this Wednesday, with what was enclosed. At a propitious moment, your name will be mentioned near the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit will protect us.

I thank you for continuing to write for me stories of the righteous (note 2: See, on this subject, letter no. 1940). Without doubt, you will not cease to do so, for this is particularly precious (note 3: According to the expression of tractate Shabbos* 10b). May Hashem cause it to be so, in joy and enthusiasm. With my blessing to give me good news,
