To Mrs. Tziporah (note 1: Mrs. T. Bunin, of Ra'anana. See, regarding her, letters no. 6605 and 7034),

I bless you and greet you,

After a particularly long interruption, I have duly received your letter of 23 Tishrei*. You tell me that you have been directing this school (note 2: See, on this subject, letter no. 8515) for several years already and that you could perhaps turn, henceforth, toward another project.

It is no doubt unnecessary to explain to you at length that, precisely at the present time, a great Aliyah* is being prepared, which must also be the occasion of a moral elevation, felt in the heart of each one, in particular among the young, who thirst and who seek. Nevertheless, they themselves do not know what they thirst for and what they seek. Such schools are therefore indispensable and a fortiori is this the case when they are based on sacred values. Without doubt, he who possesses experience in this matter has acquired a merit and capacities much broader than those of a beginner. In reality, all these points should be broadly developed. Nevertheless, what has just been said will be sufficient, all the more so since one can observe your success in this matter. All the doubts you had previously have now disappeared, this is quite evident.

You tell me of your visit to this person and I am satisfied by it. I hope that your husband (note 3: Rav Alexander Zisel Bunin. See, regarding him, letter no. 8327) as well will finally see the beneficence of Hashem and the positive aspect of all this. Moreover, this will increase the success and the influence he exercises upon them, so that they know ascension in the domain of holiness.

You tell me nothing of your state of health, in the literal sense and I therefore hope that all is well. With my blessing that you give me good news of all this and especially of the most important point, of your great success at the school and among its students,

ברכה ושלום!

לאחרי הפסק הכי ארוך נתקבל מכתבה מכ"ג תשרי,

ולכתבה שזה כמה שנים שמנהלים המוסד וכו' אולי יפנו עתה למה שהוא אחר.

בודאי למותר להאריך, שדוקא עתה, בקשר עם העלי' ההולכת וגדולה וביחד עם זה גם העלי' הרוחנית הנרגשת בלב כאו"א ובפרט בלב הנוער וכו' המשתוקקים ומחפשים וכו', אלא שאינם יודעים למה משתוקקים ומה מחפשים, הרי גדול ההכרח במוסדות כהנ"ל שמתנהלים על טהרת הקדש וגדול פי כמה וכמה, ובודאי שכל מי שיש לו נסיון בכגון זה, הרי זכותו והאפשריות שלו גדולות בהרבה יותר, מאשר דכל המתחיל וכו', ובאמת הרבה יש להאריך בהנ"ל אבל גם הכתוב מספיק, ובפרט שרואים במוחש הצלחתם בהנ"ל ואיך שכל החששות שהיו להם בעבר - אינם במציאות, וק"ל.

נהניתי לכתבה אודות הביקור שלה אצל... והתקוה אשר סו"ס גם בעלה שי' יראה את הטוב וחסד השי"ת שבזה, ובפרט שזה יוסיף ג"כ בהצלחת השפעתו עליהם להעלות בקדש;

וכיון שאינה מזכירה בהנוגע לבריאות כפשוטה, התקוה שבסדר הוא.
