To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem and devotes himself
to communal needs, the Rav Mordechai (note 1: Rav M. Goldberg, of Bnei Brak),
I greet you and bless you,
Regarding the haircutting (note 2: The first. See, on this subject, letter no. 8506) of your son, it seems, according to the words of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, that it should be fixed on the day of his third birthday or, at the very least, in immediate proximity to this date. On the other hand, it is of little importance to gather the greatest number of people on this day. This can be done on the day and in the place that you desire. And, Hashem will know what is the case.
