To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem and devotes himself to
communal needs, the Rav Alexander Ziskind (note 1: Rav A. Z. Bunin. See, regarding him, letter no. 8327),
I greet you and bless you,
I have duly received your letter of 16 Menachem* Av*. It is absolutely certain that you must continue your visits (note 2: Destined to disseminate Jewish values). Furthermore, there is no doubt that these visits by themselves and the words that accompany them produce their effect, despite what you write to me. You will excuse me for saying so. In addition, you will also bring them greetings from here (note 3: On behalf of the Rebbe*).
I was particularly satisfied to learn that the school has filled with students (note 4: The Rebbe* specifies: "boys and girls"). I hope that one also endeavors to increase its capacity to receive students, to the full extent possible. May Hashem cause that the quantitative recruitment also bring about a qualitative recruitment and that you very soon witness the end of all your other causes of bitterness. Reread, in particular, your letter of 22 Tammuz* 5721 (note 5: 1961, to observe that the problems mentioned therein have, in the meantime, found a solution)! You will thus fulfill the Injunction of serving the Creator, "in all your ways," in joy and enthusiasm.

... בודאי ובודאי 1) שעליו להמשיך בביקוריו אצל... 2) שהביקור עצמו ובפרט הדיבורים וכו' עושים רושם (ודלא ככתבו, במחכ"ת). ויביא פ"ש לכאן גם מהם.
שמחתי במאד מאד להידיעה אשר מלא המוסד תלמידים-ות שי' (ותקותי
שמשתדלים ככל האפשרי להגדיל כושר קליטתו). ויה"ר שמן המילוי בכמות יבואו ג"כ למילוי באיכות. ויה"ר שבקרוב יראה איך שגם שאר ה"מרה-שחורה"ות שלו (יעויין מכתבו מכ"ב תמוז תשכ"א, ועוד) כזה יהי' סופן, ויקיים ציווי הבורא לעבדו (בכל דרכיך) בשמחה וט"ל.
