To the participants of the Gan Yisrael* summer camp in Eretz

Yisrael*, our Holy Land, may it be restored and

rebuilt, very soon and in our days, through our righteous Moshiach*,

may Hashem grant you long life,

I bless you and greet you,

I received, with pleasure, your letter, with your greetings and the tablecloth that you yourselves made. As you specify, I have good hope that you have strengthened yourselves, through an appropriate education, during your stay in this summer camp, that you received therein the education that befits a daughter of Israel, each one being defined as the descendant of Sarah*, of Rivkah*, of Rachel* and of Leah*. Moreover, you are in our Holy Land, "toward which always are turned the eyes of Hashem, from the beginning of the year to the end of the year."

I hope that your presence in this summer camp will strengthen your physical health for the entire coming year and that the same will be the case, or perhaps even more clearly, for the health of your soul, for you will preserve this same education throughout the year. In fact, it is known to what extent our master, the Baal Shem Tov*, after whom your summer camp is named, and his successors, our masters and leaders, including him who founded Kfar Chabad*, my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, strove to promote the education of Jewish children, permeated with love of one's fellow, imbued with love of the Torah* and love of Hashem.

May Hashem therefore cause that after a summer in good health, you have, within all of Israel, a year of good health both physically and morally. Each one of you will receive the blessing of a good and sweet year. With my blessing that you be inscribed and sealed for a good year,

בנועם קבלתי מכתבן בצירוף הפרישת שלום וכן גם המפה מעשי ידיהן.

והתקוה חזקה אשר ככתבן במכתבן נתחזקו בחינוך המתאים במשך ימי היותן בקיטנה האמורה, חינוך כראוי לכל בת ישראל, שכל אחת מהן נקראת בת שרה רבקה רחל ולאה.

ובפרט בארצנו הקדושה עלי' נאמר, עיני ה' אלקיך בה מראשית השנה ועד אחרית שנה.

וכמו בהנוגע לבריאות הגוף התקוה ששהותן בקיטנה תוסיף בבריאות הגוף במשך כל השנה כולה, כן ועוד יותר התקוה שתתחזק בריאות הנשמה על ידי חינוך האמור במשך כל השנה כולה.

ובפרט על פי הידוע גודל השתדלות מורנו הבעל שם טוב, אשר על שמו נקראת הקיטנא, ואחריו רבותינו נשיאינו ובהם הנשיא מיסד כפר חב"ד כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר, בחינוך ילדי בני ישראל, מתוך אהבת ישראל, חדורה אהבת התורה ואהבת השם יתברך.

ויהי רצון מהשם שלאחרי קיץ בריא זה תבוא עליהן בתוך כלל ישראל, שנה הבאה, בריאה בגוף ובנפש גם יחד, ותתברכנה כל אחת ואחת מהן בשנה טובה ומתוקה.
