I greet you and bless you,

I have duly received your two telegrams. The name of your son, Yosef Yitzchak, may he have long days and good years, will therefore be mentioned near the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit will protect us, so that the medical treatment be effective, that he have a prompt and complete recovery. You yourself and your wife will educate him, with all your children, to the Torah*, to the nuptial canopy and to good deeds.

For several months, I have had no news from you, among the Chassidim* of your city, regarding the entirety of activities destined to disseminate the wellsprings (note 1: Of Chassidus*) outward. Certainly, perhaps it is possible to grant you mitigating circumstances, by admitting that habit becomes... (note 2: A nature, so that the absence of such actions has become self-evident). However, such an attitude will add nothing to the dissemination of the wellsprings, within that of Judaism in general, this is quite evident. With my blessing to give me good news and to be inscribed and sealed for a good year,

I have just received your letter, with the request for a blessing, which was read near the resting place (note 3: Of the Previous Rebbe*). I respond to the question you pose to me, in this letter and in the preceding one, concerning the surgical intervention which you describe as: "testicular." In this matter, you will conform to the opinion of two specialist doctors and it will be a success. However, you will first consult a Rav in order to determine whether it truly involves, in this case, the testicles. The names of the participants in the course, which you communicate to me, will be mentioned once more near the resting place so that they obtain the satisfaction of their needs.

נתקבלו שני המברקים שלו,

ויזכירו את בנו יוסף יצחק שליט"א על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע להצלחת הטפול הרפואי שתהי' לרפו"ק ורפו"ש.

והוא וזוגתו תחי' יגדלוהו עם כל ילידיהם שי' לתורה ולחופה ולמעשים טובים.

זה משך כמה חדשים שאין נשמע ממנו בתוככי כללות אנ"ש אשר במחנם הט' מאיזו פעולות שתהיינה להפצת המעינות חוצה, ואף אולי לימוד זכות על זה שהרגל נעשה וכו' אבל לא יתוסף מאומה עי"ז להפצת המעינות בתוככי הפצת היהדות בכלל וק"ל.

ז"ע נתקבל מכתבו עם הפ"נ שנקרא עה"צ.

במענה לשאלתו במכ' זה (ובהקודמו) ע"ד נתוח שקורא זה "טעסטוקולער" ויעשה כהוראת שני רופאים מומחים בהצלחה, אלא שישאל מקודם דעת רב באם שייך לביצים כו'.
