To Mrs. Chana [1],

Blessings and greetings,

I received with pleasure your letter written at the conclusion of Shabbat Parshat Lech Lecha, with the photographs of your two children that were enclosed. May you have the merit of educating them, with your husband, to Torah, to chuppah*, and to good deeds.

I was particularly satisfied to learn from your letter that you have been appointed president of the organization for taharas hamishpacha* (family purity), whose action is developing more and more [2].

My father-in-law the Rebbe says that a teacher is effective when he forms the student until the latter can study alone and no longer needs him. And it is the same in the associative framework. A good social worker is one who encourages the members of the association so that they, in turn, have the desire to become active, without needing to be constantly contacted by the president of the association or another official.

המצורפות של שני ילדי׳ יחיו שתזכה עם בעלה לגדלם לתורה לחופה

ולמעשים טובים.

עונג מיוחד גרמה לי כתיבתה ,שנבחרה כנשיאת הארגון למען טהרת

המשפחה ,והעבודה הולכת ומתרחבת בהתמדה.

הרבי כ״ק מו״ח אדמו״ר הכ״מ אמר פעם ,שמלמד טוב הוא זה

שמלמד את התלמיד ]עד[ שסוף כל סוף הוא יוכל ללמוד בעצמו ולא יזדקק

למלמד .כך גם בעבודה בצרכי ציבור; העסקן הציבורי הטוב הוא זה

שעבודתו מחדירה חיות שלחברי האגודה עצמם יהי׳ חשק לעבוד ,ולא

יצטרכו להגיע כל פעם להתעוררות מצד הנשיא של האגודה או פקידים

אחרים . . .
