By the grace of Hashem,
15 Mar-Cheshvan 5711,
Greetings and blessings,
I heard from our friend, the Chassid* who fears Hashem, Rav Yehudah Tzvi Fogelman, that you are not in good health and are requesting a blessing.
You have surely consulted a good doctor and adhere to his prescriptions. Hashem desires, indeed, that one have recourse to an emissary by following the ways of nature, so that healing should take the same path.
It is, however, necessary to forge a vessel to reveal the Will of Hashem. For this, one must say Tehillim each day and give tzedakah* according to one's means. You will also take part in a public study, in a shul.
I hope that you will put all this into practice, and Hashem will send you a speedy recovery. Thus, you will be able to continue your work and earn your living, in a permitted manner and in tranquility.
With my blessing for physical and moral healing,
Menachem Schneerson
