To the Chassid who fears Hashem,
Rabbi Moshe Zeev [1],

I greet and bless you,

You doubtless remember that you visited me and spoke to me about the business you intend to begin after Yom Kippur*. I would like to take this opportunity to wish you to be definitively inscribed for a good year, which also implies that the new business you are going to create will know material success.

How does one define material success? My father-in-law, the Rebbe, explains it by citing a saying of the Alter Rebbe: "The Almighty grants Jews material goods, and they make of them spirituality" [2].

You likely recite Tehillim*. I therefore propose to you, for the next three months [3], that you read each day Psalm 71 [4], in addition to those you say otherwise. I hope that you will form, in this way, a vessel that can contain the blessing.

I would also like to propose to you that you ask our friend, the Chassid who fears Hashem, Rabbi D. Edelman, to set a time to study with you the teaching of the Rebbe.

You will greet for me your brothers, with whom you are associated, and I express the wish that you give good news of all in general and of each in particular.
