To the Chassid who fears Hashem,
Rabbi Shimon [1],

I greet and bless you,

I was pleased to obtain good news of you through our friend, the Chassid who fears Hashem, Rabbi Avraham Chaim Bloch [2]. I was particularly happy to learn that you were able to obtain that the hands be washed properly [3]. One can thus, once more, verify how exact is the affirmation of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, that an effort is never in vain. When one really desires something, Hashem comes to one's aid, and one obtains it.

I am sure that this will bring you the strength and the courage to continue acting for the good of Yiddishkeit*. When one devotes oneself to the needs of others, one indeed forms the vessel that allows one to obtain the blessing for one's own needs. For Hashem does not remain in debt, and He grants far more than these needs.

I would be happy to receive, from time to time, your good news, in the physical and moral domains.
