By the grace of Hashem,

To the distinguished Chassid who fears Hashem,
Rabbi Yaakov [1],

I greet and bless you,

I was pleased to obtain good news of you through our friend, the great Rabbi and Chassid, Rabbi Sh. A. Kazarnowski [2]. He also transmitted to me the contribution of one hundred dollars that you placed at my disposal. It has been distributed among the institutions and the undertakings founded by my father-in-law, the Rebbe, which take part in Tzedakah* and discreet aid.

Like all that lives, these institutions strengthen and develop themselves, thank Hashem. We may hope that all the causes of Tzedakah*, the good schools, the dissemination of Torah and Mitzvot*, as well as good deeds in general, will multiply, with the blessing of the Rebbe, the help of the friends of the Rebbe and their accomplishments — particularly those who personally saw him and benefited from his counsel.

I was also happy to receive from Rabbi Kazarnowski good news of ..., particularly regarding Yiddishkeit*. I hope that, in addition to his practice of Torah and Mitzvot*, he sets a moment from time to time to study the teaching of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, and Chassidus* in general. It is thus that one can vivify all the actions each of us must accomplish.
