I am responding to your letter (note 1: This letter is addressed to a woman) from the conclusion of the Shabbos* that blesses the month of Adar*, in which you ask me about your activity in the near future. Currently, you are preparing yourself, in the near term, for what will be your entire life, for decades (note 2: Building a Jewish home). Now, one can verify concretely that an additional day, month, or year devoted to this preparation enables one, in greatly increased measure, to strengthen one's position and to better establish oneself in life afterward. You must therefore do everything in your power to continue your studies next year, in order to complete your training, to the full extent of what is fitting.

Furthermore, the love of parents for their children is an established principle, and may Hashem therefore grant that your parents be satisfied with your decision, that they encourage you in this direction and support you, to the extent of what they can do. The addition and satisfaction that you will bring them by completing your preparation will amply compensate for the help, the focus, as well as the effort to which they will consent in this matter. You are surely devoting yourself to the dissemination of our Torah*, Torah* of life, and its Mitzvos*, of which it is said: "You shall live by them." With my blessing to give good tidings,

במענה למכתבה ממוצש"ק מברכים חודש אדר, בו שואלת ע"ד התעסקותה בעתיד הקרוב,

כיון שנמצאת בקירוב והכנה לכל משך ימי החיים, ז. א. לעשיריות שנים, ורואים במוחש אשר הוספת יום וחודש ושנה לההכנה מוסיפה פי כמה וכמה בביסוס המעמד וההסתדרות בחיים בעתיד, יש לעשות כל האפשריות שביכולתה שתמשיך לימודי' בשנה הבע"ל, למען תשתלם ככל הדרוש.

ובטח, מיוסד על אהבת הורים לילדים, שהורי' שי' ישבעו רצון מההחלטה האמורה, ואשר גם עוד יעודדוה ויעזרוה ככל התלוי בהם, וההוספה ונח"ר שתגרום להם ע"י השלמה בהכנה - תשלם פי כמה העזר וההשתדלות ואפילו היגיעה של הורי' בהנ"ל.

מן הסתם עוסקת בהפצת תורתנו תורת חיים ומצותי' עליהן נאמר וחי בהם.
