By the grace of Hashem,

27 Marcheshvan* 5721,

Brooklyn,

I greet you and bless you,

I duly received your letter of 23 Marcheshvan*. May Hashem grant that you announce good tidings of all that you write to me, including the people regarding whom you say you are still in doubt. Indeed, the Sage says that: "His Name is surely commensurate with His glory." Ultimately, one can indeed obtain certainty in everything concerning a Jew, in accordance with the Injunction that one must "cleave to His ways." And it is quite clear that what is connected to our Torah*, Torah* of life, delivers a teaching for everything relating to life, down to its smallest detail, especially according to the explanation of the Baal Shem Tov* emphasizing that Divine Providence* applies even to the aspect that is apparently the most insignificant. All this is self-evident.

May Hashem grant that you give me good tidings of what has just been said, with joy and in a constantly increasing manner, as Chanukah* shows, which we are approaching. With my blessing of success in your holy mission, that of education based on sacred values, and to give good tidings of all this,

מאשר הנני קבלת מכתבו מכ"ג מ"ח.

ויהי רצון שיבשר טוב בכל הענינים אודותם כותב וגם באלו שמזכיר שעומד בספק להם, וכידוע מאמר החכם בלשון "הודאי שמו כן תהלתו", שעניני איש הישראלי הם סו"ס בודאות (כציווי לדבקה בדרכיו), ומובן ג"כ בפשיטות כיון שעניניו קשורים בתורתנו שהרי תורת חיים היא ויש למצוא בה הוראה לכל עניני החיים לפרטיהם ופרטי פרטיהם, ובפרט ע"פ המבואר בתורת הבעל שם טוב עניני השגחה איך שהוא גם בפרטים הכי קטנים לכאורה וק"ל.

ויהי רצון שיבשר טוב בכל הנ"ל מתוך שמחה ובאופן דמוסיף והולך וכנקודה דחנוכה לה אנו מתקרבים.
