centennial of the birth of the Rebbe Rashab*,

To all those who take part in the annual celebration of Beis Rivkah*, in Montreal, may Hashem grant you long life,

I greet you and bless you,

I have learned that your celebration dinner will take place on Tuesday the 3rd of Kislev* coming. In response, I address my greetings and my blessing to all the participants and friends of Beis Rivkah*, in Montreal. May Hashem grant that the event be very fruitful, in all domains, in order to strengthen and develop the accomplishments of the Beis Rivkah* schools, to the fullest extent desirable. On this day, as this letter is written, we celebrate the centennial of the birth of the Rebbe Rashab*, father of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit protects us. It is he who laid the foundations of this widely developed school network which, thereafter, was considerably expanded by my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, and which vivified education based on sacred values in various parts of the world, to this day.

It is unnecessary to emphasize that the Beis Rivkah* schools, in various points of the globe, including in Montreal, have a fundamental role in education based on sacred values. My father-in-law, the Rebbe*, founder of the Beis Rivkah* schools, always emphasized the primordial character of the education of girls, those who are destined to found a Jewish home. As is known, he delivered the following teaching: "Everything that is sacred to the people of Avraham, the foundation of the Jewish home, the birth and the education of Jewish children, the Kashrus* of food, the purity and the elevated holiness of Shabbos*, all of this Hashem transmitted and entrusted to Jewish women, so that they would observe and accomplish it," as the Hayom Yom* reports, on the date of 26 Adar Sheini* 5703.

The objective of Beis Rivkah* is to educate Jewish girls in this spirit. Obviously, those who will take part in the support and development of Beis Rivkah* in Montreal are associated with these achievements. Without a doubt, this will reveal the blessing of Hashem in their home and they will derive satisfaction from their children, will be in good health, will have prosperity and all good.
