To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem and devotes himself to communal needs, the Rav Yehudah (note 1: Rav Y. Shputs),

I greet you and bless you,

I reproduce here the text of the telephoned telegram that the Rebbe* Shlita was kind enough to transmit to you, on the occasion of the Mitzvah* meal organized in support of the Mikveh*:

"I am responding to your invitation: 'I am the friend of those who keep Your Precepts,' who act to build a Mikveh* in the countryside (note 2: In a vacation spot) and who take part in the Mitzvah* meal on the occasion of its completion. This is timely in these days, as the Mishnah* rules, in the chapter that deals with Yom Kippur*: 'Happy are you, sons of Israel (note 3: The Rebbe* notes at the bottom of the page: "Consult the Chassidic discourse entitled: 'Rabbi Akiva said,' of 5667")... and you shall be purified.' It is specified here: 'Happy are you,' which alludes to the Teshuvah* inspired by love, as the weekly Parshah* specifies: 'Happy are you, Israel... your enemies will retreat before you,' so that the sins intentionally committed will be transformed into merits.

May Hashem grant that there soon be fulfilled the end of this prophecy: 'You will settle on the land that I gave to your ancestors,' with the coming of our righteous Moshiach*. With my respects and my blessing, to be definitively sealed for a good year,

ויה"ר שבקרוב ממש יקוים סיום הנבואה וישבתם בארץ אשר נתתי לאבותיכם בביאת משיח צדקנו.
