I greet you and bless you,

You ask me why one does not find in the Chabad* Siddur* the prayers that appear in other books. It is known that the Alter Rebbe* established the Chabad* rite so that it applies to all, as the Shaar HaKollel* of Rav A. D. Lavut explains. It is well known that only the passages and prayers that concern everyone are included therein, but not those that are the province of the Sages of the Kabbalah* or of an elite. You no doubt have a fixed time for the study of the inner dimension of the Torah*, which, in our era, has been revealed through Chassidus*. And this time will be increased during Shabbos*, the day that is sacred to Hashem. Regarding the question of Kashrus* that you pose to me, you will address a Rav who renders Halachic* rulings in your surroundings.

ידוע אשר רבנו הזקן יסד הנוסח חב"ד שיהי' שוה לכל נפש וכמבואר בשער הכולל להרב א.ד. לאוואוט, ומפורסם והובא בו רק הענינים והתפלות ששוים לכל. משא"כ אלו ששייכים למקובלים ויחידי סגולה.

מן הסתם יש לו קביעות לימוד בפנימיות התורה שבדורנו נתגלתה בתורת החסידות, ובהוספה ביום הש"ק אשר קדש הוא לה'.
