I bless you and greet you,

I received with pleasure your letter announcing good news — the beginning of the construction. May Hashem grant that this be a good beginning for subsequently giving good tidings of everything that concerns the school that Divine Providence has granted you the merit of directing, adding and illuminating.

Although you do not specify this, I have good hope that the students were told about the bicentennial of the Hilloula* of the Baal Shem Tov*, and that the words spoken were pervaded by Chassidic* light and warmth, as is fitting for a school bearing the name of my father-in-law, the Rebbe. This is what is asked, and it is therefore certain that the means to achieve it has been fully granted. With my blessing to give good tidings of your communal and personal achievements alike,

נעם לי לקבל מכתבה בבשורה הטובה אודות התחלת הבני', ויהי רצון שתהי' התחלה טובה - לבשר טוב בכל עניני בית הספר, אשר השגחה העליונה זיכתה לנהל אותו, ובאופן דמוסיף והולך מוסיף אור.

תקותי אף שאינה מזכירה עד"ז שדברו עם הילדים ע"ד שנת המאתים להסתלקות הילולא של הבעש"ט ז"ל, ושהיו הדבורים באור וחום חסידותי, כיאות לבי"ס אשר על שם כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר. והרי כיון שדורשים את זה בודאי שניתנה אפשרית מלאה לעשות זה.
