We are on the day of the full moon of this month of Kislev*, the third according to the count of Teshuvah* (note 2: The third after Tishrei*, when Teshuvah is accepted between Rosh Hashanah* and Yom Kippur*), corresponding to the third of the other count, that of the Righteous, Sivan* (note 3: The third after Nissan*, when the children of Israel, leaving Egypt, were all considered Righteous). May Hashem therefore grant that you give me good tidings of your communal accomplishments and your personal concerns, in an ever-increasing and ever more luminous manner, the central point being the dissemination of the wellsprings (note 4: Of Chassidus*) to the outside.
It is in this month that we celebrate the luminous day of 19 Kislev*, Rosh Hashanah* of Chassidus*, according to the expression of the Rebbe Rashab*, in his well-known letter, which is printed in the HaYom Yom*, at the head of 19 Kislev*: "This day is the Rosh Hashanah* of Chassidus* that our holy ancestors bequeathed to us, whose merit protects us. This is the teaching of the Baal Shem Tov*."

... ובהמצאנו ביום דקיימא סיהרא באשלמותא דחדש כסלו, חדש השלישי למנין בעלי תשובה, מכוון נגד חדש השלישי למנין צדיקים הוא חדש סיון,
יהי רצון שבכל הענינים הפרטים והכללים גם יחד יבשרו טוב באופן דמוסיף והולך מוסיף ואור, ובנקודה התיכונה הפצת המעינות חוצה,
והרי בו בחדש יום הבהיר י"ט כסלו, ר"ה לדא"ח ובלשון כ"ק אדמו"ר מוהרש"ב, באגרת הידועה (נדפסה בהיום יום י"ט כסלו): היום הזה הוא ראש השנה לדא"ח אשר הנחילנו אבותינו הקדושים זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, והיא היא תורת הבעש"ט ז"ל.
