To the attention of the great Rav*, distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem,

of good conduct, a communal leader of multiple accomplishments,

a man of quality from an illustrious family,

Rav Yitzchak Meir HaKohen (note 1: Rav I. M. Lewin. See, regarding him, letters no. 5280 and 7124. A similar letter was addressed to Rav Binyamin Mintz. Both were leaders of Agudas Yisrael* and Poalei Agudas Yisrael*),

I greet you and bless you,

I received your letter in due time, in addition to the telegram regarding the united front between Agudas Yisrael* and Poalei Agudas Yisrael* (note 2: See, on this subject, letter no. 7025). I thank you for having thought to address it to me. Due to the sanctity of the festival, I was unable to acknowledge receipt until now, and you will kindly excuse me for this.

May Hashem grant that each one of us, within all of Israel, carry out successfully the mission entrusted to him, in tranquility of mind and joy of heart, in order to strengthen the glory of the Tradition of Israel and to disseminate Yiddishkeit* among ever-widening circles. Thus, every Jewish man and woman will be imbued with the spirit of the Torah*, with the effective practice of the mitzvos* in daily life. Obviously, this also includes the light and the luminary of the inner dimension that were revealed by the Baal Shem Tov*, by his disciples and by the disciples of his disciples, until his wellsprings (note 3: Those of Chassidus*) disseminate to the outside and the promise made to the Baal Shem Tov* is fulfilled — when he experienced an ascent of the soul — according to which, in this way, the master shall come, the king Moshiach*, with the true and complete redemption. With my consideration, my respects, and my blessing.

Regarding the elections, I have communicated my view and my instructions, as in the previous ones of 5715 (note 4: 1955), in a telegram addressed to the leadership of the Chabad* association in our Holy Land, may it be restored and rebuilt. Without a doubt, my position has already been disseminated.

בעתו קבלתי מכתב כת"ר בהוספה על המברק ע"ד החזית שבין אגו"י ופאג"י, ות"ח על שימת לבבו, ומפני קדושת המועד נתעכב האישור עד עתה, ואתו רב סליחה.

ויהי רצון שכל אחד ואחד מאתנו, בתוך כלל ישראל, ימלא תפקידו מתוך מנוחת נפש ושמחת לבב להרמת קרן ישראל סבא והפצת היהדות בתוככי חוגים ההולכים ומתרחבים, עד שכל אחד ואחת מבני ישראל יהיו חדורים ברוח התורה וקיום המצוות בפועל בחיים היום-יומיים, ובזה כמובן וגם פשוט - אור ומאור פנימיות התורה שנתגלתה על ידי הבעש"ט תלמידיו ותלמידי תלמידיו, עד שיפוצו מעינותיו חוצה ויקויים היעוד שניתן להבעש"ט בעלית נשמתו, אז קאתי מר מלכא משיחא, בגאולה האמיתית והשלימה.
