I have duly received your letter of 12 Menachem Av*. At a propitious moment, I will once again mention your name and the names of the persons you cite at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, whose merit protects us, in accordance with what you write to me.

I am very surprised that you could not take part in the Chassidic* farbrengen* of the festival of the liberation, because... Indeed, if one who has no difficulty at all has the duty to participate, how much more so must one who faces such a difficulty do so, for his participation can cause this difficulty to disappear and reveal the blessings of Hashem in all one's needs. This is self-evident.

לפלא גדול מ"ש שלא יכול להשתתף בהתועדות דחג הגאולה מצד וכו' שאם זה שאין לו כל מניעות צריך להשתתף בהתועדויות כאלו, עאכו"כ זה שיש איזה מניעה, שהרי ההשתתפות בכחה היא לבטל המניעות ולהמשיך ברכות השי"ת בכל המצטרך, וק"ל.
