To the great Rav*, distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem

and assumes a sacred mission, Rav* Y. (note 1: Rav* Yisrael Grossman, rector of the Yeshivah* Tomchei Temimim* Lubavitch of Lod. See, concerning him, letter no. 6366),

I greet you and bless you,

I have learned the good news of the birth of your son, with Mazel Tov* and his entry into the covenant of our father Avraham (note 2: His circumcision), at a good and fruitful moment. May Hashem grant that you lead him, together with all your children, to the Torah*, to the wedding canopy, and to good deeds, illuminated by the light and warmth of Chassidus*. The merit of your activity of teaching our Torah*, the Torah* of life, to the children of Yisrael, sons of the Elokim of life, will multiply the heavenly blessings and your success in your sacred mission, as well as in your personal concerns.

You surely have knowledge of the collection of Talmudic analyses by the students that was published here. Perhaps you have even seen it. One finds in it explanations of the revealed dimension of the Torah* and of Chassidus*, written by the students of the Yeshivah* Tomchei Temimim* here. It would be particularly advisable (note 3: See, on this subject, letter no. 6943) that the students of the Yeshivah* Tomchei Temimim* of Lod do the same. It is no doubt unnecessary to emphasize the importance of this to you, but one urges eagerness only upon those who naturally possess this quality. To the extent possible, it would be particularly advisable to envisage such a publication for 18 Elul* or for the month of Tishrei*, which is approaching. For nothing withstands the will. I conclude as I began, with my blessing of Mazel Tov* and that you give me good tidings, in general and specifically,

הגיעתני בשורה טובה אשר נולד לו בן למזל טוב והכניסוהו לבריתו של אברהם אבינו בשעה טובה ומוצחלחת.

ויהי רצון שיגדלוהו ואת כל יו"ח שי' לתורה ולחופה ולמעשים טובים, מוארים באור וחום חסידותי.

וזכות התעסקותו בלימוד תורתנו תורת חיים עם בני ישראל, בני אלקים חיים, תרבה בברכות השי"ת והצלחתו במלאכתו מלאכת הקדש, ובעניניו הפרטים גם יחד.

בודאי נודע לכת"ר (ואולי גם ראה) החוברת פלפול התלמידים שהו"ל פה, ובה חידושי תורה בנגלה ובחסידות מתלמידי תומכי תמימים דפה.

ומהנכון ביותר וביותר שיו"ל עד"ז גם מתלמידי תומכי תמימים דלוד.

ובודאי למותר לעורר אודות זה, אבל נצטוינו אין מזרזין אלא למזורזין. ואם רק יש אפשריות, הרי מהמתאים ביותר שיו"ל אם לח"י אלול או לחדש תשרי הבע"ל, ואין לך דבר העומד בפני הרצון.
