I greet you and bless you,

I have duly received your letter from the eve of Shabbos*, as well as the one that preceded it. You have surely learned that I wrote to all those to whom you had proposed that I do so. Regarding the younger girls (note 1: Presumably classes for the younger girls within a school), I am surprised that you seek explanations to justify dismissing what was said. Indeed, as we have spoken about many times, according to the words of our masters: "It is from its beginning... (note 2: ...that the entire course of a process unfolds. If the beginning is positive, the rest will be as well)."

I am surprised that, from one letter to the next, you erect new barriers each time, other limitations, so that it is necessary to repeat to you once again the ruling of the Torah* according to which: "The king breaks through barriers" (note 3: Of a private domain, if he wishes to traverse it). Now, "who are the kings? They are the Sages" — that is, our masters, with what concerns them and their institutions. An explanation of this by the Tzemach Tzedek* was mentioned at the Chassidic* farbrengen*, and he is the Decisor for what concerns us. Now, "in the place of Rav, one follows the practice of Rav." According to this explanation, it is from between the straits (note 4: Between 17 Tammuz and 9 Av) that one will arrive at true expansiveness, at "an inheritance without limit." ולפלא שממכתב למכתב מקים עוה"פ מצרים וגבולים ועוה"פ צריך לחזור הפס"ד שמלך (מאן מלכי רבנן נשיאינו ועניניהם ומוסדות שלהם) פורץ גדר. וכמדובר בהתועדות בפירוש אדמו"ר הצ"צ (אשר פוסק הוא בענינים שלנו ובאתרא דרב נהוג כרב) אשר מבין המצרים יבואו למרחב העצמי לנחלה בלי מצרים. עיין רשימת איכה א-ג: ולשבח י"ל וכו'.
